Jibraan Esoof
Dr. Jibraan Esoof is a medical doctor and inventor working at the intersection of digital health and neurorehabilitation. Early in his career, he identified a needs-led opportunity in stroke care and went on to found STROHAB and completed the New Frontiers Programme with Enterprise Ireland. He then led the clinical, commercial, and regulatory development of STROHAB at University College Dublin, supported by Science Foundation Ireland (now Research Ireland) through the National Challenge Fund.

Conor Connolly
Conor Connolly is an accomplished commercial leader with extensive experience in the Medical Technology and Sustainability sectors. Having spent the majority of his career in startup environments, he thrives in dynamic settings that demand strategic vision, adaptability, and a results-driven approach. A graduate of Dublin City University with a degree in Biotechnology, Conor was recognized early in his career as a high-potential student, being selected by Ernst & Young for an entrepreneurship programme.

Mirko Micucci
Mirko is an accomplished technical lead specialising in medical device product development across a number of therapies. He graduated from University of Galway in Physics with Biomedical Physics before completing a Masters in Biomedical Science and an MBA. Mirko’s experience extends to all aspects of the Lifecycle of the Medical Device from design control and product development from early stage to commercialisation, risk management and process development.

Mohamed Hajalamin
Mohamed is a medical doctor looking forward to becoming an innovative, frontline radiologist who drives wide-scale positive impacts on patient health. He graduated from the University of Gezira, Sudan, in 2019 and moved to Ireland in mid-2023. He has since gained clinical experience across emergency medicine, acute general surgery, geriatrics, stroke, and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He holds an MSc in Human Clinical Anatomy, a PGCert in Medical Education and is currently halfway through the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Most recently as Head of Ambulatory Care Ireland at B. Braun Medical, where she led national initiatives to deliver innovative outpatient care solutions that improve patient outcomes and system efficiency.

Colm Peelo
Colm is enthusiastic and determined, motivated by improving patient experiences and outcomes in clinical medicine. He graduated top of his class in the BSc Psychology at Maynooth University and MSc Clinical Neuroscience at University College London (UCL). His desire to work with patients brought him back to Ireland after two years teaching and volunteering in China and Southeast Asia. He has since contributed to clinical teams in diverse settings, from neurorehabilitation to child psychology and multidisciplinary neurology services.

Ciarán O’Sullivan
Ciarán holds a BSc in Product Design and an MSc in Medical Device Design. After completing his masters in 2010, he joined Movement Industrial Design in Dublin, contributing to early-stage concept development for both innovative start-ups and major multinational medical device companies.

Robert McConkey
Robert is an experienced clinician and former healthcare inspector with a deep commitment to improving patient care, healthcare delivery, and service design. After an earlier career in the insurance industry, he retrained as a nurse and progressed to the role of Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), where he led the development of Ireland’s first nurse-led flexible cystoscopy service for bladder cancer surveillance, a model now implemented in multiple hospitals nationwide. His interest in system-level improvement later led him to a role as a Healthcare Inspector with the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA), where he assessed safety, quality, and governance across public and private hospitals.

Conor is a mechanical engineer by training with a BSc and MSc from University College Dublin, but he has a strong business acumen, recently graduating from a full time MBA at Esade Business School, Barcelona. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in biopharmaceutical science from NIBRT and ATU.
