2025-2026 Programme Participants

Mohamed Hajalamin
Mohamed is a medical doctor looking forward to becoming an innovative, frontline radiologist who drives wide-scale positive impacts on patient health. He graduated from the University of Gezira, Sudan, in 2019 and moved to Ireland in mid-2023. He has since gained clinical experience across emergency medicine, acute general surgery, geriatrics, stroke, and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He holds an MSc in Human Clinical Anatomy, a PGCert in Medical Education and is currently halfway through the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Alongside his clinical work, Mohamed has led multiple QIPs and authored peer-reviewed publications, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses. His particular interest lies in the diagnostic utility in radiology and the safe and efficient integration of AI into clinical workflow. In parallel with his research, he values clinical teaching and has previously served as a Clinical Tutor in problem-based learning and a Demonstrator of cadaveric anatomy. He is refining his educational expertise through a formal qualification in clinical education, with a focus on transformative and technology-enhanced learning. Building on this, he leads a national radiology education platform that supports junior doctors and medical students through educational programs and meaningful research initiatives.
Through the BioInnovate fellowship, Mohamed aims to combine his clinical experience, research background, and problem-solving skills with the BioDesign process to address largely unmet clinical needs. Outside work, Mohamed enjoys family time, music, reading, socialising, and creative writing.
