Programme Funding

Since 2024, the BioInnovate Programme has been supported through Enterprise Ireland’s Innovators’ Initiative, a national initiative co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union. This support enables BioInnovate to offer a world-class, fully funded innovation training experience for professionals passionate about improving healthcare.

Participants in the BioInnovate Programme receive a tax-free scholarship totalling €38,000 over the 10-month duration. In addition, programme fees up to €5,750 are covered, allowing participants to focus fully on their innovation journey. As a full-time and immersive programme, BioInnovate requires participants’ full commitment. Participants are not permitted to undertake external work during the 10-month period.

Academic Registration

All participants are registered for the Postgraduate Diploma in BioInnovation, which includes continuous assessment and the submission of a diploma report at the end of the programme. There is also the option to transfer to the MSc in BioInnovation, which involves additional research work following the 10-month programme and the completion of a master’s thesis.
