Thomas Moore
bioinnovate.ieThomas Moore is a MedTech professional with nearly twenty years of experience across the full medical device development lifecycle. As a Staff Engineer at ICS Medical, he has led technical development for a range of early-stage startup projects — taking complex devices from initial concept through to commercial manufacturability. Thomas built his career from the ground up, starting as a Product Builder at Creganna Medical in 2006. Over the years he became a go-to expert in catheter design and advanced manufacturing processes such as braiding, coiling, and welding.
A career highlight was guiding a novel neurological device through every stage of its lifecycle — from early concept and test design all the way through first-in-man trials and final verification. His work goes well beyond prototyping. Thomas has a strong track record in process improvement and scalable manufacturing — recently taking a project's build yield from 40% to 90% in just four weeks. He also brings hands-on experience managing lab operations, supply chain procurement, and equipment validation. With a career spanning structural heart, neurology, and peripheral applications, Thomas is now looking to move to the front end of innovation.
