Siobhán has over 15 years commercial experience in leading multinational companies including ICON Plc, Novartis, Wyeth and MSD, operating at both national and regional levels. She has extensive experience in strategy development, brand leadership and people management during periods of transformational change such as mergers and organisational restructuring. She commenced her career in clinical research when she joined ICON Plc in Sydney and upon returning to Dublin she was responsible for completing feasibility analysis and developing proposals for global clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas. Most recently, as Sales & Marketing Lead in MSD, Siobhán established a new business unit for the fertility franchise across the Nordics, Baltics, UK & Ireland. In tandem, she returned to academia to complete an MSc in health policy & health services management in Trinity College Dublin. Her dissertation focused on the partnership between the health, academic and enterprise sectors in healthcare innovation. Siobhán graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) with a BSc in pharmacology and subsequently completed an MSc and PhD in cell biology and cardiovascular pharmacology respectively. In addition, she has completed postgraduate studies in food innovation and entrepreneurship in Galway Mayo Institute for Technology and Public Relations in the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. Siobhán is passionate about health and wellbeing and the ability of food, medicine and technological innovation to save and improve the lives of patients and their families. In her spare time, Siobhán enjoys travelling, music gigs, food and interior design, especially mid century furniture.
